1. ‘MARKET VALUE’ LETTER.
Type of property:- Conventional houses or bungalows in reasonable
condition.
Type of inspection:- Brief and very limited.
Object of service:- Only to give an opinion of ‘Market Value’
as at the date of
inspection.
2. ROYAL INSTITUTION OF CHARTERTED SURVEYORS, ‘HOMEBUYER’
SURVEY AND VALUATION.
Type of property:- Conventional houses, flats, bungalows etc.,
in apparently reasonable
condition.
Type of survey:- Economy package with nine written pages in standard
form.
Object of survey:- To assist to; (i) make an informed judgement
on whether or not to
proceed. (ii) decide whether or not the property is a reasonable
purchase at the agreed price; and, (iii) assess urgent and significant
matters before exchange of contracts.
Special features:- Focus on urgent and significant matters.
Valuation:- ‘Market Valuation’ given as an Integral
part of the
‘HOMEBUYER’ service.
Form of report:- Compact fixed RICS format.

up to £100,000 £155.00 inc VAT £275.00 inc VAT
up to £150,000 £180.00 inc VAT £325.00 inc VAT
up to £200,000 £235.00 inc VAT £375.00 inc VAT
up to £250,000 £250.00 inc VAT £400.00 inc VAT
up to £300,000 £275.00 inc VAT £425.00 inc VAT
Over £300,000, and specialist surveys, by arrangement at a
negotiated fee.
NOTES:- THESE FEES APPLY TO HOUSES:-
1) OF AVERAGE SIZE AND ARRANGEMENT,
2) IN REASONABLE CONDITION ,
3) WHICH ARE NOT LISTED,
4) ARE LESS THAN 120 YEARS OLD,
5) ARE WITHIN THE GEOGRAPHIC AREA OF THE CHARTERED SURVEYORS EXPERIENCE,
6) AND IS CARRIED OUT BY A CHARTERED SURVEYOR, NOT STRUCTURAL ENGINEER,
OR
A CHARTERED BUILDING SURVEYOR
Notes:- The above fees do not apply to valuations for the following
